The Appointment
Thirty minutes prior to treatment, the practitioner will use a topical anaesthetic to numb the skin. Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ uses the Dermaroller™, a high quality sterile single use medical-device, the only such device approved within the EU and only available in the UK and Ireland from trained medical practitioners and authorised clinics. The device penetrates the skin with thousands of microscopic needle-columns, which encourages the skin’s natural repair process. As the skin regenerates, new collagen and skin cells are formed and blood supply is enhanced. In the first weeks the skin will normally look brighter and more vibrant and about six weeks later the regeneration and repair process can tighten the skin and reduce pigmentation. The process will continue over the following months, providing natural and long lasting enhancement. Up to three sessions, six weeks apart, are usually recommended. Treatments cost starts from £250 per session.

With recovery often taking place the same day as the procedure is carried out, the patient will just look like they have moderate sunburn following their Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ session. Immediately after, the practitioner may well apply Chiroxy Cream to help soothe and calm the skin. Patients will be advised to treat the skin gently until the redness has cleared.

At home, patients are advised to use the much gentler, home-use mesorejuvenation treatment C8 Dermaroller™. Used two to three times a week at home under the direction of your aesthetic practitioner, it will stimulate the epidermis and enhance the penetration of specific skin products, improving your anti-ageing skincare and your goal of younger and healthier looking skin.
